It's not always easy to put an end to your career, either because of injury or because your body can't keep up with the grueling NHL schedule. For a majority of players, the passion for the sport is still there, even if they are no longer able to compete at the highest level. They can continue to enjoy hockey by getting involved in the sport, but in a different way, as a few NHL alumni have done in the <i>Osoyoos Desert Classic</i> spring tournament.
