Already back on ice training in Brossard, Nick Suzuki certainly doesn't intend to be idle during the off-season. The captain was the only player in the entire organization to play in all 82 games last year and he continues to lead by example during the off-season. Josh Anderson and Kaiden Guhle are currently training with him. Suzuki recently gave an interview to La Presse reporters and he had a very clear message for the fans and the organization: We're tired of losing and finishing last. We have to start winning again. We saw, at the beginning of last season, the team we could be. The injuries changed everything, but I always keep my expectations high. With the players we have, our style of play and our coaching staff, we can definitely make a push for the playoffs. - Nick Suzuki

Nick Suzuki to @SO_Lorange, from La Presse: We're tired of losing and finishing last. https://t.co/tD5JkqPCZK- Alexandre Pratt (@alexandrepratt) May 24, 2023
One thing is certain, Nick's teammates will follow his lead and he will do everything in his power to take his game up a notch this summer. Also, staying in Montreal is attracting other non-Quebec players to stay in the area to train with him.
