The rookie tournament has been in full swing since Thursday night for the Canadiens' prospects in Buffalo. We have the chance to see several new names in action, but also youngsters who have already broken into the NHL lineup. One of those new names is the 33rd overall pick in the last draft: Owen Beck. The young man is already being compared to Phillip Danault and we can see why. He does everything right on the ice. In fact, for the past two games, he is by far the best player on the Habs, so much so that everyone is talking about him on social networks. Here are some examples: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/RDSca/status/1570925891911303171?t=18fI1UsLUr1i2dmbBnzZ6g&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/renlavoietva/status/1570939452520042496?t=nq-eGxbYM3oWf3A6Hk8hqw&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/PFrioletRDS/status/1570928491927064577?t=yWzs6z4uqRtv678qGO3dCw&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/jaredbook/status/1570940059762962433?t=3F3-f2U6-yzT7K4z2m-CLQ&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/TVASports/status/1570940288730005505?t=YXX50FRPw5D5bQN_4FM-PA&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> This list could go on and on as people have so much good to say about the young man. While we thought he played well in the first game on Thursday night, he looked even better on Friday night. Let's just say it bodes well.
