Kent Hughes had a very busy first year as GM of the Habs, but it has been much quieter since the start of 2023.

We all remember the flair Hughes showed when he sacrificed Alexander Romanov to go after Kirby Dach in the 2022 draft.

According to Pierre the Informer LeBrun, the Tricolore's general manager would be open to trading the Panthers' first pick, acquired in the Ben Chiarot trade.

It would be a huge deal, as we now know Hughes' flair and the draft was shaping up to be really good this year, especially in the first round.
