After their most recent loss, the Pittsburgh Penguins had to reset with a closed-door players meeting in order to try and right the ship.

Penguins Poor Performances Continue In Loss To Tampa Bay

The Pittsburgh Penguins are on a mid-season slide right now, one that could hurt their chances at making the playoffs if they don't fix it as soon as possible. That wasn't the case last night, though, as they dropped another game to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Being a Pittsburgh Penguins fan this year.

The powerplay is culprit number one for the losses, as they have yet to score in their last 31 attempts, one of the craziest stats in the league right now, and surely contributing to the Penguins' struggles.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have a 5 on 3 power play for 40 seconds to potentially snap an 0 for 31 stretch. That might be the craziest stat of the season. 0 for 31.

Penguins Players Host Closed Door Meeting

After the game in Tampa, the Penguins players held a closed-door meeting to try and right the ship. This isn't an uncommon practice in the NHL when teams are struggling, however, it does strongly signify that the leaders in the dressing room are not happy with how things are going.

Closed door meeting appears to be taking place.

We will see if this meeting has any effect on how the Penguins play moving forward.
