Kent Hughes was adamant at the Habs' post-season wrap-up that he would not hesitate to make a trade similar to the one for Kirby Dach with the Florida Panthers' first round pick. Marco D'Amico of Montreal Hockey Now lent himself to the game and offered three potential targets for Kent Hughes. Alex Newhook At 22 years old, Newhook has quite a bit of potential. A center player selected two spots behind Cole Caufield in 2019, Newhook is in the shadow of the stars in Colorado. Pierre-Luc Dubois The Quebecer has been linked to the Habs for quite some time. Logic would dictate that he sign a one-season deal with the Jets, but given the depth of the upcoming draft, the Jets GM may well be tempted by the Panthers' pick and thus let Dubois go. It would be very surprising if number 80 signs long-term in Winnipeg. Kaapo Kakko Height of 40 points this season, the second overall pick in 2019 has very high potential, but much like Alex Newhook, he's stuck behind the stars of his team. With his impressive size and Jeff Gorton's familiarity with him, he's a very possible option.

Credit: Habsetlnh.com
