In terms of injuries, it was a catastrophic season for the Habs, with far too many players sidelined from the game. This was the case for Sean Monahan, who missed a significant portion of the season for the second year in a row. Having only played 25 games since being acquired by the Habs, the team announced that he had surgery on his groin. There is a lot of speculation as to whether or not the forward's career is in jeopardy, as he seems to have been dealing with groin problems for quite some time. The team captain, Nick Suzuki, was willing to reveal the plans for number 91: I've talked to him a lot lately and he wants to come back and have a good summer. He knows he can be a really good player and wants a team to believe that too.

Agreed, Monahan is a very good hockey player and we got a small sample of that early in the season. Hopefully, he will find a team that wants to believe in his chances of not getting hurt again.
