Shane Wright will be traded before the end of the World Junior Championship

Although we are on the cusp of 2023 and he has remained healthy, Shane Wright has yet to play the required number of games to not be demoted to juniors.

This means that the Kraken will have an important decision to make for the future of the young man's career and it would seem that his junior team will make things easier.

The Kingston Frontenacs are expected to trade Wright to the Ottawa 67's.

The 67's are in first place in the league, while the Frontenacs are seven wins behind.

If the Kraken decided to send him to the minors, his chances of going far in the playoffs would be really good and who knows, he might even go on to win the Memorial Cup.
