The Golden Knights players are probably in a solid morning-after state at the time of writing. They won the Stanley Cup just over 24 hours ago, and now it's time to celebrate. Winning the Stanley Cup is great. But winning it at home is even better! As is customary, the Commissioner presented the Conn Smythe Trophy and Stanley Cup following the home team's victory. Whenever Bettman makes a public appearance in any city, he's instantly booed. However, this was not the case at the Vegas presentation.

The lack of boos for Gary Bettman is incredibly unsettling.- Marc Dumont (@MarcPDumont) June 14, 2023

Vegas is not a real field hockey town until they realize there is a lot of booing required at this moment.- Arpon Basu (@ArponBasu) June 14, 2023
People even go so far as to say that Vegas isn't a hockey town since the fans didn't boo Gary Bettman. You've got to admit it was special and unsettling!
