A young Red Wings talent is rumoured to be in various NHL trade rumours and could interest several teams with his attractive profile. Jonatan Berggren is just 23 years old and scored 15 goals in his rookie season with the Wings last year. Despite this, he has struggled to establish himself in Detroit's offensive line since the start of the campaign. The right-winger's AHL career has been marked by 15 points in 16 games. Berggren is proving that he no longer belongs in the lower league, but in the NHL. On the other hand, there doesn't seem to be a chair for him in the Wings offense, to use Martin St-Louis's popular expression. Especially with the recent arrival of veteran Patrick Kane. General manager Steve Yzerman is reportedly in talks to send Berggren elsewhere. The Swede could explode with another organization, and he can certainly end up completing a top-6 attack in the very near future. Draft picks, probably in the 2nd or 3rd round, would be required in return by Steve Yzerman. Could Berggren interest Kent Hughes and become part of Montreal's young offensive core?
