The Canadiens announced a very interesting hiring in the last few hours. NHL veteran Fernando Pisani has joined the team's scouting staff.

Pisani had some good times in the NHL, but health problems slowed him down considerably and retirement followed. There are several reasons why this hire is interesting. Pisani worked as a player development coach for the Oil Kings in the WHL. In particular, he worked with Kaiden Guhle. What's more, he's a former teammate of Francis Bouillon, who holds a similar position with the Canadiens today. So the links with the current team are there.

He has some ties to members of the Montreal organization → https://t.co/De6yIISCUD- DansLesCoulisses (@DLCoulisses) August 13, 2023
