While the Montreal Canadiens were hosting the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre yesterday, a very unusual scene was captured on camera during the game. As the cameraman was projecting the images from the press gallery at the Bell Centre, we were able to see just how dramatic the Tricolore's season has become. Here is what the press gallery looked like yesterday: <iiffrraammee src=https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fhockeymagazine%2Fposts%2Fpfbid037k6mtsqrJDmyVJbcVc8wGDPsGVfnqgFmM4aDWHWLBe8FX3EUsYH6YFdksksTeHedl&show_text=true height=413 style=width:100%;max-width:500px;border:none;overflow:hidden scrolling=no frameborder=0 allowfullscreen=true allow=autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share></iiffrraammee> There were no less than nine regular players in the lineup who did not participate in the game, excluding Sean Farrell. The worst part about it is that it wasn't even the full count, as Josh Anderson and Christian Dvorak don't even appear in the picture. We could even add Carey Price and Paul Byron, who are still absent employees of the CH, but we won't go that far. In short, a picture worth a thousand words on the catastrophic situation of the Habs. It says so much about the extremely difficult season the organization has had in 2022-2023.
