With the playoff race no longer an option for the Habs for several weeks now, fans and possibly many of the club's executives are now turning their attention to getting the best possible pick in the upcoming draft. Many fans are dreaming of a Connor Bedard or another future NHL star in the Tricolore uniform and Kent Hughes, like any good manager, wants to take advantage of this difficult season to get the best possible talent in the next draft.
