Brandon Tanev just won likely the most one-sided fight that has happened this year in the NHL, when he absolutely destroyed Connor Garland last night.
Tanev Throws Massive Rights During Beatdown of Connor Garland
Brandon Tanev is one of the notable tough, gritty defensemen in today's NHL. Not only does he play tough, but he backs it up as well. Last night, his fists backed up his play during a fight with the Vancouver Canucks' Connor Garland. It's not entirely clear from the video what started the fight. But what is clear is that Tanev finished it. He threw a number of right hands on Garland, who couldn't get his bearings to throw one back. Take a look. SO MANY RIGHTS HE WAS BEGGING FOR A LEFT 🤜

Tanev Wins Decision Unanimously on Social Media
Normally, a fight in the NHL doesn't result in a clear-cut winner or loser. A lot of the time, the discussion on social media afterwords is arguments on who won, whether any punches landed, or who was right to start the fight. This time? Pretty much everyone was unanimous that Tanev won the fight, and that is all anyone could talk about.

One thing is clear, Brandon Tanev is one tough hockey player, and I would be surprised if anyone decided to take him on any time soon.
