This afternoon some shocking news has come out regarding the benching of a Boston Bruins defenseman. A reported incident has led to the benching of the veteran defenseman.
Bruins Bench A Defenseman After Incident Involving A Team Meeting
A report today has confirmed that Boston Bruins defenseman Derek Forbort has been benched for tonight's game. The reports indicate that Forbort was late to a meeting leading to the decision.
Derek Forbort will not play. Missed a team meeting.
As of now, it is not known if Forbort will face any further discipline. The Bruins will take on the Seattle Kraken tonight at 10 pm Eastern. The Bruins will need to find a way to fill the gap left by Forbort for the night.
