Last night marked Patrick Kane's return to Chicago for the first time since he left the team that drafted him in 2007.

The Red Wings ended up winning 3-2 in overtime. After the game, Kane opened up on Bedard's hit and sent him a message.

Bedard, who's been wearing a full visor since the jaw surgery he underwent in January, probably would've gotten hit back if he hadn't been wearing it.

After three intense periods, the game was tied and overtime was needed to find out the winner.

Patrick Kane was granted a penalty shot and didn't miss his chance.

He shot right in the top corner and scored the game-winning goal.
