Carey Price Makes His Feelings Known About Sidney Crosby

For many years Price and Crosby went back and forth in an intense rivalry that developed between the Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins.

This led to a natural rivalry between Crosby and Price themselves as many believed they were the two best players at the time at their position in their respective peaks.

During the intermission of the contest between Canada and the United States Price was asked about that rivalry and the respect that developed between the two.

He was also asked to comment on how impressive it is that Crosby is still playing at such a high level this late in his career.

He's such a professional he takes care of himself on and off the ice. He's a generational sensation. To watch him doing what he is doing at this stage of his career is unbelievable.

Price who is usually a man of few words seemed happy to give Crosby the praise he deserves for an incredible and long career.

While Canada did not come out on top against the United States they will still have a chance to punch their ticket to the finals on Monday with a game against Finland.

Crosby will continue to look to lead Canada toward yet another championship game and build on his Hall of Fame resume.
