This Calgary Flames forward is facing a potentially massive suspension after a reckless game against the Kraken, where he delivered two questionable hits.
Pospisil Delivers Questionable Hit to Set Tone of Flames Kraken Game
Martin Pospisil let the temperature of the Kraken-Flames game get to his head a bit last night, delivering a questionable hit right off the start of the game. The hit wasn't called, however, it definitely could have been determined to be boarding. The hit resulted in a scrum, however, Pospisil was not ejected or penalized for it. Ty Kartye went after Martin Pospisil for his huge hit on Larsson in the 1st period 👊

While there is an argument that Pospisil delivered the hit to the side of Larsson, he clearly sends him into the boards head first. A dangerous hit like that near the boards is what the boarding call was intended to protect players from.
Pospisil Ejected For Hit Later in the Game That Was Even Worse
Pospisil wasn't done there. Later in the game, he delivered an even worse hit on defenseman Vincent Dunn. This hit was right in the numbers and sent Dunn face-first into the boards. Pospisil was ejected immediately, and will likely face a suspension for the hit. That is genuinely the most egregious boarding penalty I've ever seen. Has to be at least five games, right? Numbers all the way, a solid five seconds to react horrendous.

Clearly, the Kraken were not happy with either hit, since both ended up in scrums. We will see how many games Pospisil will get for his actions.
