Ranger's Rookie Making Quite a Name for Himself over Short Career

Ever since Matt Rempe dropped the gloves with Islanders tough guy Matt Martin approximately 1 second into his NHL career, he has been plastered over the news. Since his debut, he has challenged some of the mightiest heavyweights in the league, with some even saying that he is making fighting popular again. Check out some of the fights below.





However, in tonight's game against the Florida Panthers, there was a change of pace for the 6'8" scrapper.

Florida Forward Jonah Gadjovich Issues Warning to Matt Rempe

It appears that the Panthers forward was trying to intimidate Rempe, but it doesn't really seem to have worked.

I expect more plays like this over the rest of the season as Rempe has earned a bit of a target on his back and it seems that every team is going to have guys who will try and ruffle his feathers and see how tough he is.

Old School Hockey is making a comeback it seems.

Regardless, it's clear that the kid isn't going to back down from any challengers any time soon.
