Today sad news has come out that former Toronto Maple Leaf Pete Conacher who is a member of the prominent Conacher hockey family has passed away. The Conacher name is one that is synonymous with hockey history. Charlie Conacher was one of the first members of the family to make the NHL spending 9 seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs and a total of 12 seasons in the NHL. <a href='https://tipofthetower.com/2017/02/19/toronto-maple-leafs-add-four-new-members-legends-row/' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Charlie was inducted into the Maple Leafs Legends Row in 2017.</a> Today it was announced that his son Pete Conacher who also spent time with the Toronto Maple Leafs passed away today at the age of 92. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/MapleLeafs/status/1848135743803101580'> </a></blockquote></div> During his NHL career, Pete Conacher played for three different teams the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, and the Chicago Black Hawks. He spent parts of 2 seasons each with the New York Rangers and Chicago Black Hawks while spending just a few games with the Toronto Maple Leafs. During his NHL career, Pete Conacher played a total of 229 NHL games and tallied 86 points. Beyond his impact on the ice, Pete Conacher also made a profound impact on the community. In recent years the Conacher family made a reappearance through a distant relative of Charlie and Pete Conacher named Cory Conacher. <a href='https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/33265/cory-conacher' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Cory played 7 NHL seasons from 2012-2020.</a> While he has not played in the NHL since then Cory Conacher did make appearances in the AHL last season with the Chicago Wolves.
