Major League Hockey was a shocking revelation for the world of hockey, but unfortunately, it has been confirmed as all but a scam at this point. The growth of hockey at the NHL level and beyond has been amazing to see in recent years, and the interest is growing at such a rapid rate that we are seeing new leagues pop up. The women of hockey finally landed a league of their own with the highly successful PWHL, and in recent months, we've seen the announcement of a 3v3 league to take place in the fall titled Major League Hockey. While there was excitement from some immediately upon the announcement, but shortly thereafter, it was revealed to be a scam with a $30 million salary cap, and now, the latest update has all but confirmed those suspicions. This is laughably insane & unprofessional Running paid tryout camps in a league with a supposed 30 Million salary campand you get refunded 50% if you make the teambut you get free snacks! I can't believe this is still alive!

According to all reports, the league is going ahead, but their latest update reveals that the league are accepting money for tryouts, with those participating receiving just half of their money back... only if they make the team. With the debut of MLH expected in the fall, all the warning signs of a scam are there, so if they go ahead, it's safe to say that they will be lucky to last one season in what may end up being a train wreck.
