The Chicago Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard faced a major reality check at the ongoing World Championship in Czechia. Following a very good tournament, in which he managed to score one goal and five assists in seven games, Connor Bedard had a major demotion with Team Canada. In the last game, Bedard was limited to 8:08 minutes of ice-time. During the game, he took a bad penalty, and head coach Andre Tourigny apparently decided to make him pay for it. Unfortunately for him, it didn't end there. Team Canada faced Slovakia on Thursday in the quarterfinals, and even if many people expected to see Bedard back on his spot in the line up, it was announced that he would serve as the 13th forward or the team. <q>Connor Bedard is listed as Canada's 13th forward for today's QF vs Slovakia. Let's hope that he can learn from this to make sure he doesn't repeat the same mistake in the NHL. Details and updates will follow.
