Last night's game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers got intense when Evan Rodrigues of the Panthers ran into Canadiens' goalie, Samuel Montembeault.

In the third period, Samuel Montembeault rushed out of his zone to stop Rodrigues from getting a breakaway. The player collided with the goalie, who fell heavily on the ice.

The incident didn't sit well with Arber Xhekaj. He immediately went after Rodrigues, who remained hidden behind a referee to avoid fighting him.

Watch the whole incident here:

Xhekaj seemed determined to avenge his goalie. If the ref hadn't been there, Rodrigues probably would've left the ice with a few bruises.

Do you think the referee should've let Xhekaj get to Rodrigues?
