The alleged murder of Columbus Blue Jackets star Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew is set to speak to a judge again today while he awaits a trial. Higgins is still behind bars as he awaited speaking to a judge today regarding any pre-trial conditions. This time around, the accused killer was seen in a regular orange jumpsuit instead of the green anti-suicide smock he was wearing during his first meeting with a judge. This time as Higgins faced the judge, within seconds it was determined that there will be another meeting set for September 13th. Higgins will remain in jail until that proceeding. The 43-year-old is accused of driving while intoxicated and will be facing two charges of death by auto. Authorities have stated that Higgins admitted to drinking 5-6 beers before driving. Across the NHL tributes to Johnny and his brother Matthew continue especially in Calgary and Columbus where Johnny Hockey played.
