The Calgary Flames had another down year in 2023-24, and now it appears they're set for more blockbuster trades, with Andrew Mangiapane drawing interest. It seems just a matter of months ago that the Calgary Flames future was bright with a team loaded with stars, and during their best season, it was Andrew Mangiapane that played a significant role. During his career year in 2021-22, netting an impressive 35 goals, but in two seasons since that point, he's managed just 31 in total. Now, with the team looking towards the future, they are ready to trade even more veterans this summer, with Mangiapane reportedly on the trade list, according to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. The Calgary Flames have been receiving trade interest for Andrew Mangiapane.

On top of that, Jacob Markstrom is drawing plenty of interest as the Flames are likely to head towards a fully fledged rebuild, with the arrival of a new arena expected in the next two to three years. As for Mangiapane, it's unclear what his value would be in a trade, as he's still a 15 goal scorer, but given two straight down years, Calgary would certainly be moving him at his lowest. This summer is expected to be another busy one for Calgary, and given teams like New Jersey, Buffalo and Los Angeles among others are all in need of veteran experience, there's set to be many suitors for No. 88.
