Filip Hronek from the Vancouver Canucks seems to have a good grasp on who's playoff-bound and who's not in the 2024 Stanley Cup race. The Canucks are in it this season, having clinched the Pacific Division with a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames and are eyeing that top spot in the Western Conference. As for the Flames, they're out of the playoff picture, having traded key players like Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm to Vancouver, and accepted their fate as lottery contenders. So, when the Canucks and Flames faced off Tuesday, Hronek couldn't resist throwing some shade. He dropped a classic line towards Flames' defenseman Rasmus Andersson, basically saying, You're on vacation in two days! Ouch, that's gotta sting. And hey, he's not wrong the Flames' season wraps up Thursday against the San Jose Sharks, leaving them with nothing but offseason plans.

Hronek, 26, has been having a solid season with the Canucks, notching five goals and 48 points in 81 games. It's his first full season with Vancouver after joining from the Detroit Red Wings in a trade back in 2023. The Czech defenseman is set set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
