Today NHL insider Pierre LeBrun announced exciting news regarding the future of superstar Connor Bedard. According to Pierre LeBrun Connor Bedard is expected to play for Canada at the World Championship tournament.

During an episode of Insider Trading on TSN today Pierre LeBrun discussed several upcoming offseason topics. One of the topics discussed was the upcoming World Championship tournament. As part of this discussion, Pierre LeBrun announced that Connor Bedard is expected to be a part of team Canada.

This announcement comes as a bit of a surprise to fans and those around the NHL. Connor Bedard missed a big chunk of time this season due to a jaw injury. With Connor Bedard still battling the recovery from this injury many expected him to take some time off. Instead, he will head to the World Championships this summer.

Connor Bedard reunites with World Juniors teammate for Team Canada

Connor Bedard will also likely be joined by fellow World Junior teammate Mason McTavish as they represent Canada on the Men's National team stage this time. As more information comes out regarding the full Team Canada roster we will pass it along to you.
