Some Edmonton Oilers players are getting impatient with reporters ahead of game one against the Vancouver Canucks. This season, the Oilers lost four out of the five games they played against the Canucks. Since it was announced that they would face each other in the second round of the playoffs, a lot of reporters mentionned that information to the players in interviews. Some Oilers players reacted more than others. Leon Draisaitl, being his usual pissed self in front of reporters, looked tired of hearing about it: I don't know how much more we need to talk about this. We're going into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. We don't care about what happened in the regular season. And I bet you that they don't either, as much as you think. We're a different team now. It's going to be tight-checking, with two really good teams going at it. The team that plays better hockey will win. His teammate, Vincent Desharnais, also talked about their struggles against the Canucks in the season, saying that the team changed a lot since then and that it doesn't matter on how they're going into game one: It is old, for sure. It's been so long. People keep asking about it Those first three games were, like, six or seven months ago. We're a different team. And, at the end of the day, whatever happened in the regular season doesn't mean anything. The most important part is the first game on Wednesday, the rest doesn't matter. The Oilers changed a lot in the season, starting with their head coach. Three of their four losses against the Canucks were with former coach Jay Woodcroft at the helm. However, the Canucks will be without their number one goalie, Thatcher Demko, who got injured in the first round and won't play until the end of the series. Game one is set to go down tonight and we can't wait to see

Source: Hockey Feed - Oilers are sick and tired of hearing this about the Canucks ahead of Game 1
