The Florida Panthers took a massive loss in game four, but after a scrum involving Matthew Tkachuk, there were fears he would miss game five due to suspension.

After three dominant wins for the Florida Panthers, game four was a different story, as the Edmonton Oilers scored early and often, leading to their first win in this tough series. It wasn't all fun and games however, as the two biggest stars on the ice came together during the second period, with Matthew Tkachuk and Connor McDavid getting very physical.

There were calls from fans to suspend Tkachuk for at least one game following his actions, but now that the 5pm deadline has come and gone, there is confirmation that he will suffer no further punishment.

Now that 5 pm EST has passed, it is official that Matthew Tkachuk will NOT be receiving any supplementary discipline for jumping a defenseless Connor McDavid

After Leon Draisaitl suffered no suspension for his brutal hit on Aleksander Barkov in game two, it makes sense that the NHL want the biggest stars on the ice, so as the series shifts to Game Five in Florida, the Panthers will have every opportunity to close this series out.
