After Ryan Reaves dominated his former team, NHL enforcer Georges Laraque has called out the Maple Leafs veteran. Unsurprisingly, there was much frustration in Montreal on Saturday night as Ryan Reaves physically dominated his Maple Leafs rival, as he even dominated Michael Pezzetta after the two dropped the gloves. Being out muscled like that was a tough pill to swallow for the Canadiens, as they usually have the upper hand physically with Arber Xhekaj in the lineup. Unfortunately for Montreal, he wasn't in the lineup on Saturday night as the Canadiens went down 4-2, and former NHL enforcer Georges Laraque has now chimed in on social media, pointing to that as the only reason why Reaves was able to dominate. For those who were wondering the importance of Xhekaj in the lineup, I hope you understand after yesterday's game against Toronto. Go watch the previous match between the 2 teams when Xhekaj played, Reaves was invisible, and yesterday he was driving everyone crazy! While the cat's away the mice will play!!! 😂

Given the quiet stretches that Reaves has had this season, it's a hard point to argue from Laraque, as he did very little in their previous meetings this season, and with the Maple Leafs looking for their first Cup since 1967, they'll be hoping that they can see Saturday's Ryan Reaves in the lineup throughout the playoffs, not the quiet one we've seen this year.
