Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving has been hard at work this offseason. Leafs fans wanted a revamped blueline? They got it in the form of Stanley Cup champion Olover Ekman-Larsson from the Florida Panthers and Chris Tanev from the Dallas Stars in NHL free agency. Yet it's now been revealed, there was one target he missed. The mystery man is Matt Roy. Toronto had their eyes on him ahead of free agency, but he ultimately signed a six-year, $34.5 million contract with the Washington Capitals.
