The famous Paul Bissonnette shared his thoughts on the Toronto Maple Leafs' decision to fire their head coach Sheldon Keefe.

The news of Sheldon Keefe's firing took the hockey comminity by storm earlier today. Even if a lot of people thought it would happen, it looked for a while there that the Leafs could keep him, considering his two-year contract kicking in this season.

"The #leafs have fired head coach Sheldon Keefe. He has two years remaining on a contract extension that hasn't even officially kicked in yet."

Paul Bissonnette, the former NHLer and renowned Leafs fan who turned TV analyst and podcast host, shared his thoughts about the situation in a post on X.

According to him, Keefe did a great job with the Leafs this season and should be able to find another job in the NHL.

He also mentionned that with the rumors sending Craig Berube to the New Jersey Devils, we should know who'll replace Keefe soon, but isn't sure who will that be.

Here's his full statement:

"Just woke up on my flight to Atlanta to the news. Thought Keefe did a solid job as Leafs head coach. He'll land on his feet somewhere. With the #RumourBoys reporting the Devils will land Berube, not sure where that leaves Toronto for a head coach? Should know pretty soon. #LeafsForever"

Would you like to see the Toronto Maple Leafs hire Craig Berube to replace Sheldon Keefe as their head coach?
