Today on a new episode of the Missin Curfew Podcast former Vancouver Canuck Brad Richardson gave his opinion on the conflict between J.T. Miller and Eliass Pettersson.

The Vancouver Canucks season has been controlled by chaos in part caused by an ongoing feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson.

The conflict between Miller and Pettersson has been a major story within the NHL landscape for an entire month now with several sources weighing in on what has gone wrong.

Former Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau revealed that the conflict originated back during his time with the team and was thought to be resolved.

Today a clip from the Missin Curfew Podcast with guest Brad Richardson took things back to the early days of this chaotic situation and shows how Miller might be at fault for things getting as bad as they are.

Former Canucks forward blames J.T. Miller for being too hard on Elias Pettersson

During the Missin Curfew Podcast of course the topic of Richardson's former teammates came up.

Richardson seemed happy to talk about the situation and began by admitting his love and appreciation for J.T. Miller specifically.

However, Richardson then confirmed that the problems between the two stars began with Miller trying to be too hard on Pettersson.

I love J.T. but I even told him you're too hard on this kid. I know you're saying exactly what I think. But he's a kid that doesn't take when you're on him too hard he's going to shut down.

Richardson then continued by revealing that he believes the Canucks will have to make a move to resolve the tension within the locker room.

He admitted the tension back when he was with the team was incredibly high and distracting to the team and it seems that has not changed in the years since Richardson left the team.

There's a lot of tension in there and something is going to have to give there within that locker room.

While it seems abundantly clear to almost everyone that the relationship between Miller and Pettersson is broken beyond repair the Vancouver Canucks refuse to admit it for some reason.

With the NHL Trade Deadline approaching it will be fascinating to see if the Canucks change their tune or if they try to just keep pushing forward with the feuding stars.
