He's not hurt. He needs to be better, he knows it. It's tough. Guys like that want to play on the edge, so he's trying to temper it; he doesn't want to take dumb penalties, things like that. He's at his best when he's driving play. Miller was also asked about the lack of playing time and why he feels Tocchet has put him out there less over the last few games. In his answer, Miller seemed a bit lost for a specific answer of what has gone wrong for him but admitted his level of play needs to take a step up. I don't know, he said. Probably could play a little better, I don't know. It seems like this season has taken a toll on Miller, Tocchet, Pettersson, and the Canucks as a whole already at just essentially the halfway point. If they cannot find their way out of this frustrating hole they have dug for themselves filled with drama we could see the Canucks make some major moves at the trade deadline.
