Last night things got heated between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers during a scrum and Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk pulled out a UFC move in his scrum. Near the end of the first period of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers got into a heated brawl. The fight began after Sergei Bobrovsky made a save and one of the Edmonton Oilers forwards slashed at his glove. During the fight, every player on the ice found a dance partner. Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk decided to take on Derek Ryan. While the two were engaged in a fight Matthew Tkachuk tried to go for a spinning elbow punch similar to what you would see in the UFC. Bob with a gem and then the boys start going at it

Doing this type of maneuver on skates is obviously incredibly difficult. Due to this Matthew Tkachuk did not get much force behind the strike. Eventually, everyone would be separated and penalties would be handed out.
Panthers dominate Game 3 putting a stranglehold on the Stanley Cup Finals
As the game continued the Florida Panthers did what they have done in every game of this series and began taking control. First it was a goal from Sam Reinhart that was eventually answered by the Oilers and Warren Foegele. But then after things were tied at 1 the Panthers would put up 3 straight goals.

The fourth goal from captain Aleksander Barkov who was questionable to even play in Game 3 sealed the deal for the Florida Panthers.

Now heading into Game 4 the Florida Panthers have the opportunity to close out the series and bring home the Stanley Cup.
