Tuesday night was a real tragedy in the hockey world. A 19-year-old man named Eli Palfreyman collapsed in his team's dressing room during intermission of a game at a tournament in Ayr, Ontario. Despite all attempts at resuscitation, he was pronounced dead in hospital overnight. <q>The Ayr Centennials regret to announce that our captain Eli Palfreyman passed away last night. We ask for your prayers and support for Eli's family and each of our players. Our Centennials organization and the Ayr community are in mourning. The doctors will have more answers for us in the coming days. Out of respect for the family's right to privacy, we will not speculate at this very difficult time.
