Kent Hughes has his work cut out for him this summer if he is to have a competitive line-up on the ice come October. The team won't accept defeat, and it's going to take some help to do that. The duo of Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield have been playing footsie, but no one has been able to keep up with them other than Kirby Dach. However, Dach has been very solid at center in the 2nd half of the season, and the chances that Martin St-Louis will want to leave him at center are pretty good. So we'll have to turn to the transaction market to find a winger, and Kent Hughes could well be headed for Anaheim, where Maxime Comtois is unlikely to receive a qualifying offer from the team.

To qualify or not to qualify?

That is the question teams are facing with these 10 RFAs. The 24-year-old's potential is much greater than he's showing, and joining the Habs could get him going again. What's more, he wouldn't cost much to sign. Stay tuned...
