TVA Sports' Anthony Martineau spoke with Montreal Canadiens' third round draft prospect Adam Engström.
He is off to a good start in Europe, with seven points in three games in the Swedish Under-20 League, and says he wants to be the best defenceman in the world.
I want to be the best defenceman in the world," the youngster said convincingly on the phone.
"I always wanted to be the best. It is with this mentality and goal that I put on my work boots every morning."
This is how the young back describes himself:
"I think my hockey sense is one of my biggest strengths. I also like to carry the puck. One of the things I'd like to improve on is my defensive game. I know for a fact that players who want to make it to the best league in the world have to be good in their own territory... especially defensemen! I also want to be stronger and more physically imposing."
