TVA Sports' Anthony Martineau spoke with Montreal Canadiens' third round draft prospect Adam Engström. He is off to a good start in Europe, with seven points in three games in the Swedish Under-20 League, and says he wants to be the best defenceman in the world. I want to be the best defenceman in the world, the youngster said convincingly on the phone. I always wanted to be the best. It is with this mentality and goal that I put on my work boots every morning. This is how the young back describes himself: I think my hockey sense is one of my biggest strengths. I also like to carry the puck. One of the things I'd like to improve on is my defensive game. I know for a fact that players who want to make it to the best league in the world have to be good in their own territory... especially defensemen! I also want to be stronger and more physically imposing. To read Anthony Martineau's excellent piece with more details, it's here:
