In the last few hours, the Arizona Coyotes organization has issued a unique statement and it's almost unheard of in the NHL.

They outright announced that the team's star defenseman, Jakob Chychrun, was passed over last night because a trade would be more imminent than ever.

The 24-year-old defenseman will obviously be traded in the next few hours and it will be a monster deal. Remember that Arizona required three elements that would have the value of a first round pick in return for the talented defenseman.
