In an unexpected move, Evander Kane, professional hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers, has taken his love for the game to a local Beer League in Edmonton during the offseason.

While many of his NHL peers opt for private training or rest during this period, Kane continues to hit the ice.

Known for his unrelenting passion for hockey, Kane has just wrapped up his second season with the Oilers. And now, he has become a part of a Beer League team in Edmonton, adding a humorous twist to his offseason. The team, humorously named "FA AFO", has attracted attention online.

The intriguing name seems to be a playful reference to the expression "F*ck Around, And Find Out", a nod towards facing consequences for one's actions.

Origin of the Team's Unique Name

The name of the team seems to carry more significance as it is reminiscent of a comment made by Kane himself during Game 2 of the NHL Playoffs against the Vegas Golden Knights.

A fierce altercation took place between Kane and Knights Forward Keegan Kolesar, where Kane justified his rough actions towards Kolesar using the famous saying:

"When you want to f*ck around, sometimes you've got to find out."

Kane will no doubt be slaying in the beer league considering his talent on the ice throughout the regular season.
