In the last few hours, we reported that David Reinbacher was injured during a game in Switzerland. The Canadiens defenseman came into contact with the boards, suggesting that he had hurt his knee.

He returned to the game, but left immediately and missed the last two periods. According to Patrik Bexell, this is not encouraging.

"According to Patrik Bexell, David Reinbacher left the game early this evening after losing his balance during contact, then hitting the boards in a way that was odd for his right knee.

He returned for two shifts later, but was clearly uncomfortable and/or in pain. He didn't return to the game after that. I doubt he'll play tomorrow." - Thibaud Chatel

The worst is confirmed, as Reinbacher will not be in uniform today. This means we're not just talking about discomfort, but an injury that could be more serious.

Let's hope he doesn't miss too much hockey, and above all, that he doesn't suffer.
