Jonathan Drouin has just reached the bottom of the barrel and it's particularly sad

We have just learned, via information provided by the journalist François Gagnon of RDS, that the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, has offered the services of Jonathan Drouin to the 31 other teams of the NHL and none would be interested in acquiring the Quebecer.

Hughes even added the fact that Drouin's NHL career would most likely be over unless he accepted a professional tryout contract for next season. Drouin has clearly reached the bottom of the barrel.

It would be extremely surprising if the Quebecer changes his address by the trade deadline, unless a desperate team wants to get some depth for the playoffs.

Unfortunately for the 27 year old veteran, he has never been able to blossom offensively with the Montreal Canadiens and has never been able to live up to the huge expectations that were set for him. Furthermore, his injury history has not helped his cause either, as he has struggled to stay healthy for several campaigns.

In 28 games this season, Drouin has scored 12 points.
