Instead, they are fighting for their playoff lives and they are not doing a good job of it. Now things could be getting even worse for the franchise. <h2>Friedman Suggests Draisaitl May Request Trade From Oilers This Season</h2> Not many could have imagined the Oilers even considering trading Leon Draisaitl at any point in his career, let alone this season. However, this possibility is suddenly very real as we witness the team's historic collapse this season.
