Joshua Roy just played his last regular season game in the QMJHL. And he did it in style. A 4 point game, including the winning goal in overtime. He took the puck in his zone, went all the way across the ice, got around an opposing player, beat another one before taking a good accurate shot that beat the goalie.

Roy has had an incredible junior career, and it could continue into the playoffs with the Phoenix, who have a very good team. Since being drafted, he has had a 119 point season and a 99 point season (this year). He also won two gold medals at the World Junior Championship, becoming the highest scoring Quebecer in program history with 19 points in 14 games. Next season, he will finally be able to make the jump to the pros. He should, unless there is a surprise, start the season with the Laval Rocket where he will be able to play big minutes. It's not just about offensive production with Roy, especially this season. He has been focusing on improving aspects of his game, including his skating and defensive play. With Team Canada, he even excelled on the power play, something he had never done before in his career.

It's really been a great year for him. He's improved all over the place while still being an offensive machine.
