Patrick Roy hasnt't needed an introduction in a long time. The former Canadiens and Avalanche goalie won just about everything during his playing career, making him one of the best in his profession in NHL history. Roy is no slouch as a head coach and general manager either. The famous number 33 is in his 12th season behind the bench of the Quebec Remparts and he has just reached a very impressive plateau. In fact, Roy becomes the sixth head coach in QMJHL history to reach 500 wins in only 815 games. Just to give you an idea of his dominance, of the five head coaches who reached this plateau before him, none did so in less than 948 games.

Remember that Roy wears the double hat of head coach and general manager of the team, which further demonstrates his superiority. It is with the team he built that he reached this plateau. That's quite an accomplishment!
