The son of an NHL general manager, Daniel Briere, seems to believe that he has the right to do whatever he wants, but that is not the case. Carson, currently a junior at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, displayed a complete lack of maturity when he was caught on security camera footage pushing an unoccupied wheelchair down a flight of stairs at what appears to be a night club.

Briere's son shows no respect or maturity

Some may argue about the presence of the wheelchair at the top of the stairs or why it was unoccupied, but those arguments do not excuse the lack of respect shown by Carson. An explanation was offered by @juliazukowski, who shared the original video on Twitter, as to why the chair was left at the top of the stairs.

Mercyhurst University has issued a statement regarding the incident

Here is a statement from Daniel Brière and his son Carson following the incident.

As a member of a university hockey team and the son of an NHL executive, someone with Briere's status should display more respect and class than what is seen in the video. This type of behaviour is inexcusable, regardless of how much alcohol was consumed or if it was intended as a joke.

It remains to be seen what will happen to Briere in the future after this incident, but it is hoped that he will face the consequences of his actions.
