During a recent audience with the public, Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America, fielded a question about the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but his response left something to be desired. When a young boy asked if he was watching the NHL playoffs and which team he was rooting for, Biden responded that he was indeed watching and named the Philadelphia Flyers as his favorite team.

However, this answer seemed to miss the mark as the Flyers did not even qualify for the NHL's postseason. Although it is not the first time Biden has expressed his admiration for the Flyers, having previously mentioned it during an official visit to Canada.
