Guest of Jean-Charles Lajoie on BPM Sports this morning, TVA Sports reporter Marc-André Perreault had quite a statement to make about Logan Mailloux. First, the two men talked about the Rookie Tournament, which starts today. It's incredible to see the Habs roster and it's great to see so much potential in the lineup. Perreault then went on to make some surprising comments about the young Mailloux: Following several calls, I was told that Logan Mailloux is the best prospect on the Habs at defensive end. - Marc-André Perreault

Obviously, for the Habs to have decided to break an unwritten law and select the young man despite his faults and despite his request not to be drafted that year, there must be something special about him. We have to stop talking about Mailloux for his faults, but for the hockey player. It's a shame he hasn't recovered from his surgery yet and that we won't be able to see him at the Tournament, but it's only a matter of time before this promising prospect is back on the ice.
