The Habs are building a great pool of young prospects and two of their latest draft picks had absolutely stellar nights last night for their respective teams. First, it was 26th overall pick Filip Mesar's first skate with the Kitchener Rangers. While Mesar preferred to stay in the AHL, his GM wanted to see him dominate in the OHL rather than survive with the Rocket. Let's just say it didn't take long for the young Slovak to make his mark, as he got four points, including a goal in his first junior game. He was an offensive spark plug for his team, creating multiple scoring chances for his teammates. Here's a recap of No. 48's four-point night for the Rangers: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/MatoDeraj/status/1583722303346515968?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1583722303346515968%7Ctwgr%5Ebfe988a3881fb37fbe621f47772e6f9d160f0776%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.danslescoulisses.com%2Ffilip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl%2F'> </a></blockquote></div> The 33rd overall pick didn't want to be overshadowed by his Canadiens' first game, as Owen Beck finished the night with a staggering six points. Known for his above average defensive skills, Beck proved that he can also lead his team's offense with a goal and five assists in an 8-2 win. In fact, interestingly enough, all five of the Steelheads' #92 assists were primary assists on his teammates' goals. That means the game was essentially created by Beck himself. Check out his beautiful goal on a Cole Caufield-like receiving shot on the power play: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/OHLSteelheads/status/1583629012588728322?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1583629012588728322%7Ctwgr%5E56b306177f7e08c41495d7ca7d130a4c8b1f9afc%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.danslescoulisses.com%2Ffilip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl%2F'> </a></blockquote></div> Although he didn't produce a point, defenseman Logan Mailloux also had a good game defensively in a London Knights win. In addition to providing a very physical presence, he also had some nice offensive flashes that unfortunately did not result in goals for his team. Here are two of his checks: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/LondonKnights/status/1583627148338003968?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1583627148338003968%7Ctwgr%5E56b306177f7e08c41495d7ca7d130a4c8b1f9afc%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.danslescoulisses.com%2Ffilip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl%2F'> </a></blockquote></div> Here's one of his great offensive zone plays: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/DrakeMT/status/1583615558867910657?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1583615558867910657%7Ctwgr%5E56b306177f7e08c41495d7ca7d130a4c8b1f9afc%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.danslescoulisses.com%2Ffilip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl%2F'> </a></blockquote></div> Here is a brief summary of the Friday night performances of several CH prospects: <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/grantmccagg/status/1583638233946390529?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1583670970606239744%7Ctwgr%5E56b306177f7e08c41495d7ca7d130a4c8b1f9afc%7Ctwcon%5Es2_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.danslescoulisses.com%2Ffilip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl%2F'> </a></blockquote></div> Credit: <a href='https://www.danslescoulisses.com/filip-mesar-quatre-points-a-son-premier-match-dans-la-ohl/' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>InTheCoulisses</a>
