Vancouver Canucks star forward J.T. Miller has signed a deal that will pay him $8 million per year until 2030. Miller has signed a deal that will pay him $8 million per year until 2030.

The team made the announcement a few moments ago on its Twitter account.

The 29-year-old left winger signed a seven-season contract extension worth a total of $56 million. In 80 games last season, J.T. Miller scored 99 points, including 32 goals. It was his best career campaign.

Since joining the Vancouver Canucks, he has maintained an impressive offensive output. With forwards like E. Pettersson, Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat, he can express himself offensively every night. To that, we can add the contribution of the quarterback on the power play, a certain Quinn Hughes.

In 2022-2023, he will be a bargain with his $5.25M salary. With his performance over the past three years, $8M is still a great price for the Vancouver Canucks. His speed, hands and ability to apply solid checking in the playoffs make him a sought after player for many teams.
